P.S.  Terrance, thanks for continuing to share the fruit of your 
reading and thought re Pynchon and GR. Ignore the pot shots -- 
obviously it's much easier for some of our number  to throw rocks at 
somebody who's trying to say something than it is to engage that 
person in a discussion of substance.
