Pynch Me!

Hi Otto

I don't know if you got a reply, but it's in the section about the worms of
song playing pinochle on Weed Atman's snout, just before the recount of
Frenesi selling out to Brock and then setting up Weed to be shot after she
had helped "publicly hang the snitch jacket" on him.

In the sequence there's Wilbur the Worm, Wanda the Worm, and Wesley the
Worm. So, not much "close textual investigation" going on there.

But, it does seem that at least one academic reputation has been staked on
proving that "Wanda" was Pynchon!
