"Can We Have A Free Day?"

As a high school instructor, I've never been one for free days. Any
time you have a group of adolescents together and not engaged in some
activity --- even silent reading --- they can boil over into mass
hysteria and uncontrollable mischief.
Interestingly, the last time we had a huge outbreak of tempers and a
discussion of "what's wrong with this list" was early into our VV, when
someone was no where to be found (Ben, maybe??) and we all had two weeks
of free-form discussion. And due to other engagements et al, I was
unable to prepare anything for this VV section. And see how how the
"class" breaks down. It's all an interesting (and amusing) study in
human nature, if nothing else. Alas, if only I'd prepared us for our
discussion, right?
Can we get a reminder of the VV Hostlist for the remainder of the read,
whoever's in charge?
