Mafia wants to keep the Jews out. 
Benny figures maybe half a Jew can get in, he decides to get
a little off Mafia.
But Mafia beats him to it and grabs his belt. 
Benny rebuffs. 
Mafia asks him if he is a latent homosexual. 
Banny says, "No, I'm not queer." 

What the hell is going on here. 

Beeny thinks he's not  heroic, not like his TV star hero. 

He figures he's a schlemiel, hardly a man, somebody who lies
back and takes it from objects, like any passive women. 

He rejects Paola, Fina, now Mafia. What's up with Benny.
Doesn't he want to get any? 
What is it about Rachel that's different? A true wind up
girl?
