Upset, shmupset. Satire, commentary, whatever, is
protected, and necessarily so, at least insofar as
democacry is to be upheld, under copyright law, no
matter how entangeld the European and Anglo-American
strands are becoming. The suppression of that
revisionist GWTW is the most pernicious misstep in
"intellectual property" decisions that I know of since
they made Jeff Koons smash his ceramic puppies. And,
as you hint at, intentionally or no, it reeks of the
upholding of "traditional" American values like that
"peculiar institution" of slavery, racism, et al. Do
note that the Stars 'n' Bars remain on the state flag
of Mississippi (if only Phil Ochs were around to sing
of it again). Okay, second rant for the evening ...
