I suspect that American efforts on free trade are mainly to increase
exports, not imports of industrial goods or of cultural artefacts. What is
imported are mostly agrarian products from Third World countries. You
shouldn't limit your discussion to jobs in the USA, necessary is a
discussion what effects US-trade policies have on other countries through
its dominant role in the world-economy.
Remember Kyoto.
