"Asterix in Helvetia" is most fondly remembered in
these parts of the world ("In den See! In den See! Mit
Bleigewichten an den Füßen!"). The second best book of
the series, IMHO. The best is "Asterix auf Korsika",
which accidentally also contains a very funny scene
involving a special kind of cheese...


No, there is probably no influence on Thomas Pynchon's
novel "The Crying of Lot 49".
