You fellas may be on to something with this Jarry connection. I would
like to read more.
Which story was it, again, that is riddled with Ha Ha's? (And
(parenthetically), in their great extended "Nick Danger Third Eye"
sketch of the early '70's, would Firesign Theater have been riffing on
Jarry or Pynchon?  Or the Three Stooges? The Great Gildersleeve?) Can a
contemporary artist use Ha and Ha together without refering to either
Jarry or Pynchon? Or must all uses of Ha and Ha published after CoL and
the Grove edition of Jarry be interpreted as references to these works?

What does this purported Jarry reference add to your understanding of
CoL?
