Still looking for that cite........
a) to what extent is the "character" of PIErce Inverarity explored or
revealed?
b)does the fact that Pynchon gives him the last name "Inverarity"
demand that PIErce be, deep, cold, blue and very moist?
....and aren't you at least beginning to warm up to the idea that
there is a PEIrcian flavor to the endeavor.....
and thank you for all the scholarship on the subject. I'll readily
admit that this stuff might just as well be told in cunieform for all I
can understand.....
