Flynn is also a great drunken boob (another reason the Southies like him).

His knee-jerk reaction to yesterday's Boston Globe editorial (I'd post it 
here, but the online archives charge those like me who aren't subscribers) 
which called Cardinal Law to task for relocating a known pedophilic preist 
to other parishes so that he then continue to abuse young boys for many 
years is to Flynn's shame.  Cardinal Law's complicity in this preist's 
crimes would be criminal, if Law weren't a preist.
