Mr. Morris:
We must respectfully disagree. The major heresy in the Church is the stiff 
necked independence of the American Church. They wait not for the Curia to 
confirm or deny. They decide themselves. We humbly suggest you review 
numerous studies which have appeared in the popular press showing that, 
among other issues, American Catholics differ in great numbers with the 
Church's teachings on birth control, abortion, and the death penalty.
