Yes, but which name are we talking about? The quotation from Exodus implies *Jahweh*, the Hebrew name for God, Exodus being essentially a narration of the history of the Jewish people, the ten commandments being given to Moses, their leader. Therefore, the commandment itself is not talking about the word *God*, though this tradition has carried over to the Christian religion. In the New Testament, there is also the name *Eloi* (St. Mark, 15, 34). So, what do you think? Is Oedipa's speaking the name of God a sin?
