I can't see how you've demonstrated that the existence of LSD prior to 1966
was not "common knowledge." Tim's suggestion for periodical research of the
mention of lSD at the time seems the only reliable method for such an
assertion. And "common knowledge" re. the CIA's experimentations with it
has never been asserted here by anyone to my memory. And -ANYWAY- the
context of LSD in COL49 is medical research, not underground nor common
culture, SO: How in the hell did this "common knowledge" measure become
relevant to this COL49 reading in the first place!
