Think it was Voltaire who dying cried out 'o my God' but quickly added 'just
a manner of speaking.'

Is the balcanization over how many pairs of kidd gloves we should use in
dealing with Doug and how much irony or sacasm is appropriate? Positions on
this are going to vary all over the lot. A few clearly feel that in light of
past bad behavior no mercy should be shown. Or would the pro and anti Doug
factions have major differences over ideas? Judging from the posts in this
go around it might turn out the differences over ideas weren't at all
substantial.
