"SYNCHRONICITOUS"?????????!!!!!!!??????

I don't think this opposition (chance vs. cause&effects) is at the heart of 
what Jung's speaking about re. the I Ching.  Synchonicity is about "cosmic 
coincidences" or "significant chance moments" _revealed_ by the oracle.  
This IS more than chance, and IS caused by S O M E T H I N G.  The cause in 
this case is some aspect of the cosmos which is beyond the cause and effect 
that can be rationally understood.  This is nothing less than an acceptance 
of mysticism, or some spiritual force that pervades everything.
