No CIA. 

This is Mexican history. And as I have argued has to 
do with P's interest in labor history. It has nothing
at all to do with the assassination of JFK or the
CIA's use or abuse of LSD. Does it? 

The irony of Bush's oil company? Sure it's ironic, but
this irony cannot be attributed to Pynchon's book.
