yeah this is facinating stuff. i was really happy to read it.
although not really relevent, i have a disdurbing space needle story.
i went to college in seattle (well if you can call the industrial design
program at the art institute college) and to pay for this i worked nights as
a janitor. well one night, really late, i was walking home and i had to
pass through the seattle center to get there. i looked up at the space
needle as i walked passed it. the wind was howling and making strange noises
as it blew through the needle's "stem" and on the underside of the outer
ring of the "saucer" section was a lit up sign that read "WHO DO YOU
CHOOSE?". i didn't realize that it was for some kind of promotion, i thought
i had slipped into metropolis. scary moment.
