Yes, but at some point her she is adding to the paranoia... or I think I
could find a better way of,

P.166, she could have gone back to Vesperhaven House, but she somehow knew
the old man (Mr. Troth) would be dead.

Is she desperate... does she really want to know?  I think she would have
wanted to go back and find out for sure... unless, well, I don't want to
start reading into her motives right now.
