Just saw a tv report about the human rights situation in the US after 9/11
(in tv under public law). They said that after 9/11 more than thousand people
were arrested, most of them people of the Middle and Far East; in most cases
they don't know what they are accused of. Only 11 of them are suspected of
being members of the Al Qaida group. A grotesque thing happened in
Cleveland/Ohio: two students of Israel (!) were arrested and thrown into
prison for two weeks; only after ten days they got an attorney. The both were
also suspected as "terrorists".
