(Hope nobody minds that I changed the subject line.)

No, I was trying to pull you out of that ethnic and national box. Successfully, it seems. As for specifying: My mind cannot really process information like "It is time to STOP the killing!" without specifics of time and place.

I had the impression that what you said amounted to "There is no situation in which it is ethical to kill people." Which was Ghandi's radical pacifist attitude towards the holocaust, as mentioned by George Orwell. I wasn't sure, so I asked.

As for the rest of your post: I did neither address you as a representative of the US of A nor did I grab you by the throat, figuratively speaking, like you do when you write:

> And I guess that means, Thomas, we don't just have to sit around and wait around for the bad shit to happen, we can start working against it now. Yes, I find that idea very exciting. Forget blame, just take it from here--make amends instead of revenge. Imagine how the world could flourish now if America had to work off her Karmic debt! And Germany, huh, Thomas? Yes, yes, that really would be something!

In fact, I resent it.

Thomas
