Dear Simon.

Do I really sound like Barbara?  That hurts. As everyone must realize I've
been nothing but embarassed by the silly girl's adulation of me. But if what
you say is true the problem is bigger than I thought.  I don't want to have
to change my views just so as not to sound like Barbara.  I'm overjoyed when
someone agrees with my position. But why can't she do it more discretely?
Like that Arthur? Naughty of him however to suggest another big book deal is
pending off all of this.
