What's the story?

Well, my time here's been limited of late, but I'm
hoping to catch up over the Christmas break, not
necessarily with the reading, but with the posting.  A
few bucks worth of my two cents that I've been wanting
to throw in.  And I'll sign on for another hosting
stint or three as soon as I get a chance to do some
reconnaissance, see what I might have yet more pocket
change for, but ...

... but here's where I've been concerned for some time
now.  Don't know if you all have noticed, but people
are actually going to the trouble to announce here
that they are unsubscribing.  I'm taking this as a
sign of exasperation, and this is decidedly not a good
thing.  I know that one of the reasons I don't have so
much time to post these days is that I'm often
spending what time I have simply deleting messages. 
If only we could put as much effort into the novel as
we seem to into current events, not to mention
attacking each other ...
