That people would call this organization "to find out what would be an 
appropriate nonviolent response to such an unbelievably inhuman act of 
violence" is interesting.  This speaks to me of cult: ideology embodied in 
personality.  The supplicants ask "What should we think?"  Isn't this part 
of the problem?
