Credibility of the Times

But the facts can have a slant-The Times was not as critical as it could've
been with the recent "near" capture of Bin Laden. Could it be that they
didn't want to sound too critical of the war? And I can personally attest to
their sloppy journalism: a friend of mine was interviewed about his
opionions on the WTC because our dorms are right next to Belluvue Hospital,
he is in the ROTC, and has been since August, and is also a slight
conservative because of his military-brat upbringing, but he's still a New
Yorker and votes democrat. The Times misquoted him, and portrayed him as
wanting to join-up right after the attacks, and as being rather vengeful. I
don't know exactly what was said but he was very disappointed with the
coverage, and had thought the Times was a better newspaper.
