Interesting to see in print, but completely unsurprising to 
non-Americans who interact with Americans, and to many U.S. citizens who 
live outside of the country (as I do).

Why is it such a bad thing that "two-thirds or more of respondents 
outside the United States said it was 'good that Americans now know what 
it's like to be vulnerable.'"?
