Let's hope that all the outrage and diatribes about the welfare of the
Afghani people, in the alternative press particularly, weren't just the
opportunistic anti-Bush propaganda that they appeared to be, and that
support for the peace initiative and move to representative governance in,
and economic rehabilitation of, Afghanistan will remain a focus and
priority.
