I really loved what you guys did for Barth Vs. Pynchon. I am in the
precarious early stages of preparing for my BA paper, and listening to you
guys is really helping me go in an interesting direction.

Ok, whatchya guys think of Coover? his experimentation and innovation with
respect to pynchon? I think coover disturbs more, a kind of shock-rock
thing, while pychon is slightly more subtle (vrai?).

Another thing, Barth and coover and in the acadamey, does this put them in
odds with Pynchon? Why are more and more writers this century working/have
worked in acadamia? Nabokov, Joyce, Coover, Barth, Eliot, etc. have patrons
of high obscure art shifted from wealthy old women to quadrangles demanding
a writer strut his stuff around campus?

Anyone here goes or went to U of Chicago? Jus' wonderin, thought I overheard
 someone talking about this list.

Would you like someone to proof the thing when you're done, Saud?
