Just to add to the fun: In Private Warriors, that book about the 
military-industrial complex I mentioned a day or so ago, includes a brief 
report on Rudolf Engel, who worked with Von Braun at Peenemunde. After the 
war, with the help of US intelligence, he worked in Egypt in the early 50s 
to help King Farouk, and then Nasser build a rocket program. According to 
the author, the early 50s was time when many ex-Nazis lived and worked in 
Egypt. The French were also guilty of utilizing german scientists in their 
weapons programs at this time as well.
