Now that's the cheapest shot I've seen here yet, Keith, and that's
coming from someone who's proven pretty parsimonious when it comes to
invective himself here at times.  Sting, maybe; stingy, definitely.
Certainly setting a bad example for the kids, at any rate.  And just
when we seemed largely to be playing nice again ...

Really, Keith, fault someone EVEN for defending himself here and THEN go
after him when he's apparently given up doing so in order to maintain
the Pax Pynchoniana?  Esp. when's he's largely doing so at your behest?
But, hey, thanks, kai, for posting the Iannis Xenakis obit, my youngest
brother is a big fan, I even got him IX's ("many machines on Ix--new
machines ...") thesis defense for Christmas ...
