Pynchon at MLA Call for papers

To all doing scholarly research on Pynchon:

I've proposed a special session entitled Postcolonial Pynchon and the Re-Vision of History:

      Pynchon's works in terms of dramatization of historiography, imperialism and narrative form, Western Adventurism vs. ethnic                                    Otherness,  recycling / parodying History to question Western  socio-political assumptions. E-mail abstracts by March 1;  Victoria Ramirez (vramirez at weber.edu) 


This is an area of Pynchon studies that has yet to be fully explored.  Those graduate students doing Pynchon research relevant to the  above topics are urged to submit an abstract.
