V.V.(9) Chapter Seven, part 1 - commentary

Howdy

I'm running way behind here, forgive me, but... 
I thought this entire chapter is another of Stencil's tales, similar to
the "Eight Impersonations/Under the Rose" chapter, as told to
Eigenvalue (sort of). And so all of these "V"s are Stencils, aren't
they, and all of this material is filtered through the Stencilian
Sieve, if not invented whole cloth.  Eigenvalue is dismissive ("In a
world such as you inhabit, any" etc etc...) and the narrative line in
the chapter never gains a foothold in a reality that the Psychodontist
might sanction. Or does it?
