a bit more re DMT The Spirit Molecule

A post intended for a friend -- whose name starts with P and sits 
next to the P-list in my email address book, for those of you into 
cause-and-effect -- wound up here, but that's OK, I was going to 
mention _DMT The Spirit Molecule_, a new book by Rick Strassman, here 
anyway.   After a long struggle with the various U.S. governmental 
agencies, Strassman got approval and then conducted research on DMT, 
a substance known back in the Pynchon '60s as "the businessman's 
trip" because of it's apparently short but powerful. An overview and

http://www.rickstrassman.com.  More than a few of the people who took 
part in his research program reported encounters with "entities" 
sometimes described as "aliens" not unlike the beings that Pynchon 
describes in Vineland and then again in M&D (those "elves" I think he 
may have called them, down in that spooky Bermuda Triangle-like area 
where things are extra weird).
