Wow, Jody!  Great stuff!

The "blind spot" (as you say origin) could be G_D, or The Adversary, or any mix
of the two, or, more scary, another more unknown entity.   You have nailed the
nacreous color-scheme.  Cloud shapes are likewise so amorphous.  Hugh has
entered the land of true mystery.  It does not render a stable clue to its
"soul," if it has one.
