... and continuing on with those excavations, that archaeology, again,
on The Whole Sick Crew's Slab, that Catatonic Expressionism, and those
cheese danish paintings, do cf. the collected works of Wayne Thiebaud.
This just in:

The world of Wayne Thiebaud is in many ways a familiar one. It is a
world of sliced pie and richly frosted cakes, of ice cream cones, soda
bottles, drum majorettes, soup bowls, tie racks and yo-yos.
