>>>P.S. If you don't think there's a link between neo-Nazism,
globalization, and the rise of corporate hegemony (as reflected in
Bush Sr.'s successful theft of the U.S. presidential election so he
can, among other things, move forward once again with the Star Wars
missile defense boondoggle), well, I've got a bridge I'd like to sell
you. Call it hyperbole, if you will<<<
This is the kind of twisting of statements that is so tiresome. Noone
called this statement hyperbole. THIS is hyperbole:
"And I'm reminded of rj's interminable effort to erase the Holocaust
from GR, in an interpretive move that would seem to advance a reading
of Pynchon's novel which, by suppressing the manifold direct allusions
to the Holocaust in the text, could support the neo-Nazi revisionist
history project and the globalizing, corporate forces this project
currently serves."
rj is not a neo-Nazi because he disagrees with you about the focus of
GR.
And noone forced Charles Hollander off this list but Charles
Hollander. He alone is responsible for his departure.
