A coupla quick notes here.  "The text doesn't follow up on what happened
to these [crypto-Jewish] families, but the reader *knows*, and this is
the way Pynchon intended to be."  Well, I'm reluctant to appeal to
intentions here, but it certainly is reasonable to expect your average,
or even your below-average, reader, to have a fair idea of what follows
next, and, certianly, Pynchon himself should really expect that as
well.  Which has been my point about these Holocaust references all
along, that they need not be explicit, much less extensive, to be
effective, perhaps even powerfully, profoundly so.  To be present.  A
nonviolent agreement for once, then?
But do please note that not only have I not "*constantly* unleashed"
"accusations" ("false" or otherwise) "and insinuations of Holocaust
denial," I have not unleashed them at all.  Again, take care not to
accuse others of not reading closely, of misreprenting any given text,
when you do not return the courtesy ...
