yet heidegger argues that these late fragments are nietzsche's most important
stuff.
make sure you use the critical study edition by colli/montinari (vol 12 &
- especially - 13). a n y other edition of what became known as "der wille
zur macht" is corrupted. though schlechta, in his edition, corrected some of
the 'nazifications' of peter gast and liz sis by changing the order of
presentation, he took the same outtakes of the numerous fragments (see
montinaris remark in kritische studienausgabe vol 12, p. 8 & the comments
in vol 14). to make yourself a picture of your own, you have to read a l l
the late fragments.
perhaps nietzsche's late fragments are not so significant. perhaps he had
already written down everything important before. perhaps not.
dionysically yours: kai //:: ps: "die kunst, mich zu trennen, --- auseinander
zu halten, eine hälfte jahre lang zu vergessen
..." (oktober 1888)
