I found a copy of the Grant text on the shelf at Borders the day after
Christmas (it was supposed to be published today?). In any case, it sticks
to the same format as Weisenburger and Grant's _Companion to Lot 49_ (i.e.
brief chapter summary, followed by the usual notes on terms, people,
etc.). I've only read as much as we here have explored in V., yet I'm a
bit disappointed. I think WE are doing a deeper job of reading and
interpreting and connecting than Grant has (flamebating aside, of course).
Regardless, he brings up some good ideas here and there, but I'm going to
read his takes on each chapter after we've exhausted ours.
Perhaps when we finish our V.V. we can assemble it into a book and publish
it . . . similar to Jules, we can call our book "V-ineland," and . . .
wait, that wouldn't work . . .
