Concerning Sartre: Sartre denied in "L'Etre et le Neant" (The Being and the 
Nothing) the existence of the unconscious; he was against Freud and the 
psychoanalysis. In what he "believed" was the so called "pre-reflexive 
cogito", a kind of "self" you are not aware of; but in his "phenomenological 
ontology" the "pre-reflexive cogito" was the pre-condition of something we 
would call "identity".
