Nooooooooooooooo!
It is absolutely unnecessary for _anybody_ to "post the full text,"
because it's available on the web, in the archives. Selective quotations
save bandwidth and get the point across more clearly, and links to the
full posts in the archives allow the readers to decide for themselves
whether or not the quotation is an honest representation of the argument.
The website http://www.waste.org/pynchon-l also provides instructions for
unsubscribing from the list, if that fella who was having trouble getting
off (tee-hee) is still around. Please note that in order to unsubscribe
one must specify whether or not they are a digest reader.
Not a sermon, just a thought.
