VV(8) - MYSAH

A bubbe mysah is an old wives's/woman's tale. It is a legend, a myth. It
may or may not be "true." It might also be truer-than-truth.

The Jewish Mother figure, Rachel, invokes "mysah." It is a greeting to her
guests, "come into my womb." Talk about hothouse!

Rachel's hothouse is analogous to Stencil's nacreous garden. Oyster
enclosures are very womb-like. Both genders indulge in their story-telling,
but in V the feminine side is imbued with the numinous. The male side is
imbued with the humorous. This is only "natural" when the suppression of
the feminine is as pronounced as it has been since the ancient times of V.
