I just reviewed posts in the last few months about that Wanda Tinasky. I
was looking at them for lighter reading while recently reading Gravity's
Rainbow (again, of course!) and the authorial voices seemed identical.
Curiously, the voice in the letters does change after Tom Hawkins's
suicide, but the change also comes after the publication of Vineland and
Bruce Anderson's claim that Pynchon is Tinasky.

Now I'm in the "other voices" section, which I thought I would skip
through but I am truly enjoying Bruce Anderson's columns. They make the
book worth having (which may be why Alexander Cockburn was urging
everyone to buy it).

Yours,
Eric R
