Gravity's Rainbow, A book about war?

Aloha Everybody,

This may be not kosher, but I have to write a book
review for a political science class about war .  And
we are pretty much given free reign in our choice of
titles.  Does GR center around war of any sort?  From
all of this holocaust stuff, I am led to beleieve so,
but don't want to spend two months reading this thing
for my class and then find out it isn't appropriate
for the subject.

It would be great if it were, because then I would be
able to have that much more to discuss in the list.
