Note on Catholicism and Buddhism

Just a note -- I was reading a very intriguing essay in J.L. Borges' "Selected
Non-Fictions", which suggested that the historical Buddha was in addition to
being the founder of Buddhism, a Catholic saint -- forget the name under which
Borges said he was canonized, I will look it up tonight and try to find out
more.
