You're right about that irony, natch, but I'm sure it occured to Ice T as
well, which is why I think there's more to it.  But neither Ice is up to
much shakes as an actor, so I'm not exactly going to make it my mission to
find out.

Agree with you totally about Homicide - where I live the network treated it
appallingly, sometimes playing it after midnight.  That was one complex,
morally ambivalent tv show, proof perhaps that the Tube doesn't always have
to lead us to Vineland.
