  is is the heat?! i answered, like it is not too unusal on this list, certain 
  sentences in a particular posting. in fact, i replied to terrance's effort to 
  define hollanders basic methodological assumption. here's again what jane   
  wrote: "He argues that P is something of cryptic writer. The less P alludes to 
  or mentions something the greater its significance". on this part of the mail, 
  which itself deals, btw, in title and postscriptum with rap, i wrote a reply. 
  if you choose to be so frivolous to think that my soccer reference were in any 
  sense meant to ridicule or damage the memory of the shoah, it's your very own 
  problem ... but then i'm used to the fact that people like to use me as a   
  container for their darker projections ... there's just one thing, thomas, we 
  still have to talk about ... "This doesn't deserve an answer, Kai, and you 
  know it" ...  never ever talk to me like that ...

 ps: oh, & then there are certainly less interesting issues than the (relative) 
 absence of sports in trp's works.
