Brenda was a WASP (452) - White Anglo S... no...  It is: Women Airforce
Service Pilots.

Women began to serve as pilots in WWII.

During World War II, a select group  of young women pilots became pioneers,
heroes, and role models...They were the Women Airforce Service Pilots, WASP,
the first women in  history trained to fly  American military aircraft.

had the Hawaiian shirts?  Not that her tracing through Europe mirrors
Tyrones....

I have not read enough Henry James to know the answer to this... but didn't
he have some theory about rugs/carpets and patterns?  and is this a
reference... is this done on purpose by TRP?  Anyone?
