My mistake. A poorly-edited sentence. Put it down to haste and distaste.

Unlike yourself, of course, the biggest "insult" I've engaged in lately is
to not attach my customary sign-off (an expression of general goodwill, btw)
to a couple of posts in response to you. And that one frustration-induced
metaphor, a regrettable lapse. Imo you needn't sink to the level of ad
hominem if you're sincere in what you write and not afraid to admit an error
when you make it.

I'm happy not to engage further with you, or Doug, and can ignore your
insults, lectures and spam. I reserve the right to correct any false
accusations you choose to make, however.
