R.I.P. Mimi Farina

I hear that Mimi Farina passed away sometime in the last day or two. 
I haven't found a news story yet, and I haven't yet heard it reported 
locally here in the San Francisco area where she and her sister Joan 
Baez live. But that's what I hear.

Wasn't it the Hadju book that just recently talked about Pynchon 
hitch-hiking from Mexico to attend her wedding to Richard Farina? 
That's the wedding that some people think might be the model for the 
Zoyd-Frenesi wedding in Vineland.
