I certainly know what you mean; it's one of those unresolvable difficulties,
possibly.  Certainly avoiding such behaviour ought to be set as a condition
of the probation (and it would inform any judgements on "rehabilitation",
I'd think) before he's told he's "breached" it, but the guy would appear to
have problems.

But read on further still, and ponder whether a Mr T Pynchon, visiting Ohio,
might be convicted on the very same counts with a copy of Gravity's Rainbow
as exhibit number one...
